In the spring of 2009 we flew half way around the world to adopt a little girl in the city of Petropavlovsk in northern Kazakhstan. This blog chronicles our experiences in bringing her home. We wrote it both to keep those at home up to date on our progress and also to provide help and perspective to those who might follow behind us on the same adventure. Hopefully it accomplishes both goals.

Posted on April 7th, 2009 1 commentI was going to put up an overall Google map of the things we’ve found here in Petro but it would seem Jennifer at Convergent Paths has done it for me. Hopefully she’ll add some of the additional locations we’ve found to it.

Also, is it possible to shoot me an email (the one attached to my comments works well) with all the coordinates and names you’ve been tracking? One by one is ok, but a weekly list is great too. Or if you have to wait until you’re back in the states, that’s fine. Also, if you have any pictures to go with the place and coordinates, please email those as well. That way I can make sure I don’t miss any coordinates, and I get as much information to add to the tag.
